Unlike Tanya, Viktoriya is a believer in God, which further distinguishes her perspective on the war.

She deeply cares for her comrades and remains loyal to Tanya, though she sometimes finds herself intimidated by her commander’s temper. Despite witnessing the horrors of battle, she maintains a positive outlook and often expresses excitement over simple pleasures, particularly when discussing food. Her naïve and slightly childish tendencies make her more emotionally expressive, though she remains committed to her duties.

The manga adaptation of Viktoriya remains closer to her light novel depiction, presenting her as a pragmatic yet emotional character. While she shows greater emotional vulnerability in front of Tanya, she is also more assertive when carrying out orders. Her sense of duty is evident, and she displays a strict, professional demeanor when necessary, particularly when overseeing military operations.

Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov’s appearance varies across different adaptations of Youjo Senki: Saga of Tanya the Evil, with notable differences in hair color, eye color, and hairstyle.

In the anime adaptation, Viktoriya has long brown hair, large blue eyes, and a round face. She is depicted with a slender yet curvy physique, featuring a busty figure and fair skin.

In the original light novel, Viktoriya’s design differs significantly. She has shorter blonde hair, with bangs slanted to her left side. Her eye color is green, and her build is slender, aligning more closely with the typical depiction of an Imperial officer.

The manga version retains most aspects of her light novel appearance, except for her hair color, which is brown, and her eyes, which are blue, making her appearance more similar to her anime counterpart.

Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov was born in the Russy Federation during the reign of the Czarist regime in Moskva. Amid the civil war, her family fled the country, seeking refuge in the Empire to escape the advancing Red Army. Viktoriya claims to have forgotten most of her childhood memories, with her only lingering recollection being her family’s desperate flight from the conflict, devoid of any happy moments.

Due to her innate magical talent, Viktoriya was conscripted into the Imperial Army and enrolled in cadet school in 1923. Upon completion of her training, she was appointed as a Corporal, serving under Second Lieutenant Tanya von Degurechaff alongside Harald von Vist and Kurst von Walhorf.

Recognizing her potential, First Lieutenant Schwarzkopf and Second Lieutenant Degurechaff recommended her for Officer Candidate School (OCS), where she underwent an accelerated officer training program. Following her graduation, she was assigned as Tanya’s adjutant, a decision influenced by their previous working relationship and shared gender within the military hierarchy.

As part of her ongoing training, Viktoriya joined the V601 training unit and was subjected to rigorous retraining under Tanya’s command in the Alpen Mountains Zugspitze Training Area. Through her experiences on the battlefield, Viktoriya grows from a simple conscript to a respected officer, demonstrating her ability to lead under pressure and make critical decisions in combat.

Tanya von Degurechaff – Viktoriya holds deep admiration and respect for Tanya von Degurechaff, whom she regards as one of the most patriotic and capable soldiers of the Empire. Despite Tanya’s often ruthless and authoritarian demeanor, Viktoriya remains loyal and obedient, rarely questioning her orders or complaining about her harsh methods. However, she occasionally fears Tanya, especially when she displays aggressive or intimidating behavior toward her subordinates.

In the manga, during her first encounter with Tanya, Viktoriya was immediately struck by the contrast between Tanya’s delicate and youthful appearance and the aura of authority and maturity she exudes. This unsettling contrast led her to internally liken Tanya to a vampire.

Vooren Grantz – In the anime adaptation, Viktoriya appears to share a close bond with Vooren Grantz, with some scenes suggesting they may have developed romantic feelings for one another. However, this aspect of their relationship is not explicitly explored in the light novel or manga.
