His attire typically consists of a long black coat layered over a striking red cloak, symbolizing his status as the Fullmetal Alchemist. He is also notable for his mechanical right arm, called Automail, which he received after a tragic accident. His left leg is also replaced with Automail, giving him a rugged yet distinctive appearance that emphasizes both his youth and the weight of his past.
